Our Crib

Here it is. It just needs to be sanded and stained. Isn't it GORGEOUS?!?!?! My grandpa did such an amazing job! I absolutely LOVE it! If you have any color suggestions, I'd love to hear!!!!

Oh and I'm not ignoring the 'tags' I've received. I just haven't had time to sit and think about the list. I promise to answer soon!

I think a stain would be nice! It looks too gorgeous to cover the wood!

So cute! That's very similar to the crib that we're looking at. I think we're going to go antique white but we haven't ordered it yet for that very reason!

Glad to hear you had so much fun at Scrapfest.

That is gorgeous!!! As for colors...if it was me I would either whitewash it, or stain it a dark chocolate or dark cherry color. It depends what other colors you have in the room! Anyway though, it will be gorgeous!

I just did the same thing. I took my plain crib, painted it black and sanded some of the edges. It looks so awesome! If you are feeling really creative, we didi baby's room with black paint on the top 1/3 of the wall, then did the bottom with white wainscotting. The trim, doors and windows are all white too. It looks great.

It's beautiful, Heather! Make sure you post pics of it when it's done! Makes me sad that Sage slept in her crib for the last time this afternoon-- we bought her a "big girl bed" yesterday and set it up before supper.
