A quote
I read this quote on Ali Edwards' blog today and absolutely LOVE it so I thought I would share.
"The majority of us lead quiet, unheralded lives as we pass through this world. There will most likely be no ticker-tape parades for us, no monuments created in our honor. But that does not lessen our possible impact, for there are scores of people waiting for someone just like us to come along; people who will appreciate our compassion, our unique talents. Someone who will live a happier life merely because we took the time to share what we had to give. Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have a potential to turn a life around. It's overwhelming to consider the continuous opportunities there are to make our love felt." -Leo Buscaglia
This is the kind of life I want to live.

Yes! He totally describes what I want to live too!! How easy it is to forget these words. Thanks for the reminder. I am so proud of you for making a choice like that.
See you tomorrow!
Love you lots!!!! XOXOX
WOW that is an awesome quote. We easily forget how much just the little things can make a difference.
I read that, too, Heather, and it struck a chord with me, too! Thanks for sharing!
Just a reminder of how Jesus lived his life, and what he asks us to do as we live here serving and sharing with others. It's all about relationship, and that's what Jesus did, every time. He loved and cared when people had no one. To seek that life, and that purpose brings God so much glory, and our lives so much purpose. I think we need that reminder daily, and what a blessing it is to read the Bible freely and openly for that reminder.
I love you, and am thankful to have you for my sister and friend, a woman serving God by loving others.
Big hugs.

I agree with your Mom and Heather, it is so easy to forget that how easily it is to have such a positive impact on people's lives. Thanks for the wonderful reminder.
that is profound Heather! thank you so much for sharing! I so often disregard the little things that we do, but it's so true, the little things often are the "deal breaker"
