A visit from Grandpa!
Grandpa Krueger came for a visit yesterday and today and boy, do I sure like when he holds me!!!! He's so warm and cozy!
Mommy had a long day today. I was fussy last night and I refuse to sleep in my cradle. I HATE that thing, I'd rather be in bed with mommy and daddy but they want me to sleep in my cradle. Daddy's still at work and has to go back into work tomorrow. We sure miss him when he's gone so much. I wish he could stay home with me every day too (and so does mommy!). But tomorrow Grandma Krueger and Auntie Naomi and Meadow are coming to visit. I can't wait to meet my Auntie Naomi and my cousin Meadow!
Well, it's time to eat! Better go!

Oh Heather, you have a very beautiful little girl and I just love her name, it is as beautiful as she is and it totally suits her.
Families have this amazing way of helping everything by just being there, and although the nights seem long, time will quickly pass, so cherish all those late nights with her while you can.
Here's hoping that she will adjust and get used to her cradle soon and will give you time to rest.

Helayna, you sure look comfy in Grandpa's arms! What a pretty girl you are! I know it's not as warm and cozy in your cradle as it is with Mommy and Daddy, but you'll soon learn that they are not far away and will be right there in a heartbeat when you are hungry or just need a hug.
You're going to love your Grandma - she's a wonderful lady. Full of love and hugs and so generous to all with her love and friendship. Auntie Naomi looks a lot like Mommy so I'm sure you'll like her right away too! And how cool that you have a cousin so close in age! You'll be able to share toys and clothes and secrets... and before you know it, you'll be talking about boys!! :)

Love her little grin! Harper wanted to sleep on my chest for the first few weeks. Warm, snuggly, and safe. Not necessarily comfy for mommy, though!
