At 4 months Helayna...

•is starting to sit in her Bumbo chair
•loves being sung to (her favorites include, You Are My Sunshine, Jesus Loves Me & Skidamarinkydinkydink)
•loves to talk and talk, especially in the morning
•loves her bath time - we were doing it on the kitchen table in a baby tub but have had to move to the bathroom because she splashes soooo much
•is starting to get this adorable little squeal when she's excited, almost a laugh
•smiles and smiles and smiles
•is getting blonde hair (it sometimes looks red in photos but it's really not red at all)
•is wearing size 2 diapers
•loves to suck on her top lip and when she does she makes this big sucking sound - it is hilarious!
•loves to play with her floor gym
•loves looking in mirrors
•is a very loud sleeper - she's always grunting and moaning in her sleep!
•is starting to get interested in books - YAY!
•no longer has that newborn cry
•is definitely a screamer and will let you know when she is unhappy!
•is usually up twice during the night - long gone are the nights she slept through!
•is quite chubby - her cheeks, legs and arms are so chubby and CUTE!
•is a head-turner - we ALWAYS have people stopping us telling us how cute she is and how much they love her hair!
•is a morning baby, that's when she's happiest
•is out of all of her 0-3 months clothes and wearing 3-6 months stuff now.
•has more than doubled her birth weight (she's getting weighed again on Thurs. so I'll post her official weight then)
•loves to be outside
•gets overstimulated very easily - she doesn't like when people are all in her face
•loves when her mommy and daddy talk to her - this usually gets her smiling big time
•is easily startled by loud, unfamiliar sounds
•still is not napping that well
•constantly has her hands (sometimes both at the same time) in her mouth
•is getting better at being in her car seat - some times she screams but some times she'll just chatter away or stare out the window.
•loves when mommy or daddy sit in the back seat of the car with her (another one of those things I said I'd never do - yah, right!)
•is very sensitive (yep, just like her mommy)
•still kind-of gets swaddled at night, she usually starts out that way but quickly gets her arms free
•hates getting dressed and will scream every time
•still spits-up a lot (which the dr. said is acid reflux - not very fun!)
•loves to be in her Baby Bjorn when we are out and about (she will scream if we try to take her any where in her car seat - she wants to see what's going on)
•loves, loves, loves kisses
•will suck on anything that gets near her mouth (toys, fingers, clothes, etc).
•is the CUTEST little girl in the whole world! Gosh, I am so in love with her! I can't believe she's mine! And yes, every single day her hair cracks me up - there is no controlling it!
