Me and My Girl!
I am so in love with this girl. Sometimes it just takes my breath away and I get all teary-eyed when I think about how much I love her. She brings so much joy to my life. I never understood when people talked about the amazing love a mother has for her child but now I do. I can't explain it. Every day it just gets stronger. It's true, the love you have for your own child is so different than any other kind of love. I am so glad she is in our lives - sleepless nights, crying, spit-up, diapers and all.

The hair! The hair! I don't honestly think I have ever loved baby hair as much as H's! I can't get enough of it! It's a beautiful pic of you two Heather! You make a wonderful, wonderful Mom! Good on ya!
Isn't it overwhelming Heather?! You just look at them sleeping and you can't breathe because you are soooo filled up with how much you love them. Its a very intense, overwhelming feeling! Enjoy it, my friend!

What a beautiful photos! And I feel the exact same way about being a mom! It's amazing how deep a mother's love truly is...
Enjoy it now, because in 10-12 years, we'll be calling each other to remind us that the girls living with us were actually sweet, cuddly and happy at some point!! :)

I just wanted to comment on this post about how much one can LOVE their child.....another amazing thing is how we as Mother's/parents, can over and over again, feel this SAME LOVE with the birth of each of our children.......love is TRUELY a POWERFUL thing!

So are we! We love having nieces, spoiling them, spending time with them, spit-up, diapers and all. It was such a treat to spend three days with you, to see you as a mom. I'm so proud of you; you're so patient and loving with her. It melts my heart.

In this photo, Helayna looks a lot like your mom. I also love the hair, maybe it's because it reminds my of my husbands hair.
